Privacy policy

Last updated: August 2026.

1. Controller

The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is Dailyform, sole proprietorship, owner Justus Langowsky, Nicodéstraße 13, 01465 Dresden, Germany. E-mail: contact@algosail.com. There is no data protection officer, because the legal conditions requiring one are not met.

2. What this covers

This policy covers algosail.com. The site is currently an information page and nothing else: no account, no login, no form, no shopping cart, no comments. There is nowhere for you to enter data, and nothing is asked of you.

3. Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies, neither its own nor third party ones. There are no analytics services, no advertising networks, no visitor counters and no recognition techniques such as fingerprinting. That is also why no consent banner appears: there is nothing to consent to.

4. Server logs

When a page is requested, your browser transmits data that appears in the logs of the providers involved: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the status message, the referring page and details about browser and operating system. This data is necessary to deliver the page at all and serves operational security, for example the defence against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure and working service. The data is not merged with other sources and no profile is created.

5. Hosting: Vercel

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Vercel processes the data named under point 4 on our behalf. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place. Any transfer to the United States is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission under Article 46 (2) (c) GDPR, together with the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Delivery and caching happen through European locations wherever possible.

6. Name resolution and protection: Cloudflare

The domain is resolved and delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The same connection data arises there, in particular the IP address. Cloudflare also defends against denial of service attacks. A data processing agreement and the Standard Contractual Clauses apply here as well.

7. Retention

The providers named above keep log data only for as long as operation and security require, usually a few days and at most 30 days, after which it is deleted or shortened. It is kept longer only where a concrete security incident requires it, and then only to resolve that incident.

8. Contact by e-mail

If you write to us, we process your address and the content of your message in order to answer it. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where a contract or its preparation is concerned, otherwise Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Messages are deleted once the matter is settled and no retention obligation stands in the way.

9. The application

The application itself is not public yet. Once it is, it will have its own and more detailed information, in particular about accounts and sign in, about strategies and test results, about the encrypted credentials of your trading account, and about the services contacted for it: market data providers, the provider of the AI features and the database. This policy will be extended accordingly. None of that happens on this website.

10. No automated decision making

There is no automated decision making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

11. Your rights

You have the right to information about the data stored about you (Article 15 GDPR), to rectification (Article 16), to erasure (Article 17), to restriction of processing (Article 18), to data portability (Article 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21). Any consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to contact@algosail.com is enough for all of this.

12. Right to complain

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Saxon Data Protection Commissioner, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany. You may also contact the authority where you live.

13. Changes

This policy is adjusted when something changes about the website or about the law. The version available here is the one that applies.
